    "The Phone Card Program..."

    The Alpha 1 Advocacy Alliance and Coram, Inc are pleased to announce "The Phone Card Program". This new program provides phone support for those needing a little bit of help when they are away from home. Coram, Inc has underwritten this program and we are so extremely grateful for their generosity.


    The Phone Card Program
    "Call Home on Us"

    This program provides patients and their families with telephone cards so they may call family at home when they are in the hospital or recovering near their transplant centers.

    We realize that cell phones have become a way of life but many families have been telling us that they have gone way over their minute allowance and find themselves with huge phone bills when they return home. We hope this gesture on our part will fill this need. Limit six phone cards per year per patient family.

    How To Apply

    All a patient or immediate family member needs to do is:
    • Be a member of the Alpha 1 Advocacy Alliance
    • Call us at 1-866-367-2122
    • Supply information on what center the patient is at.
    • OR- fill out the application on line.
    Joining is free, easy and private.
    Simply click HERE to sign up and become a member of our growing community of committed individuals striving to be well informed and educated about Alpha 1. Our membership is open to all individuals. This includes the medical community, corporate structure, manufacturing corporations as well as private organizations interested in the Alpha-1 patient. After membership is complete click "back" on your brower to complete "The Phone Card Application".
