    Alpha One International Registry
    provides AAT Deficiency Testing. This AAT Deficiency Testing is a
    COMPLETE CONFIDENCIAL TESTING SERVICE
    and WITHOUT COST TO YOU.
    This testing will include measuring the CONCENTRATION of AAT in your blood, determining the TYPE of ATT in your blood and (where appropriate) determining your AAT genotype by testing the DNA in your blood; State of the art, full-spectrum Alpha-1 Testing .

    Alpha-1 Registry or ACT


    Alpha-1 International Registry

    The Alpha 1 International Registry offers free confidential testing for Alpha-1. In addition, one may sign up for the registry. This registry is used for research into the disease, including sibling studies. Those who choose to participate in the AIR must first sign a comprehensive consent document. Dr. Edward Campbell is the principal investigator and will answer any questions you have regarding this confidential registry. The web site includes his contact information.

    ACT (Alpha 1 Coded Testing Trial)

    The Medical University of South Carolina offers coded testing through ACT (Alpha 1 Coded Testing Trial). Participants must fill out a pre and post test questionnaire. For more information, contact the registry coordinator at alphaone@musc.edu This is part of the Alpha One Foundation Research Program.
