Personal Advocacy for the patient may be as simple as linking a patient with an informed pulmonologist, GI or dermatologist within their area or may be as complex as lobbying congressional help for an individual. Patients often need the direction to turn to find proper treatment, patient financial assistance, and information regarding disability, community resources, insurance portability and the protection of their personal rights. We will extend our help as deeply as needed.

- H.R. 1282—Medigap Access Improvement Act of 2007: To amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to provide for guaranteed issue of Medicare supplemental policies for disabled and renal disease beneficiaries upon first enrolling under part B of the Medicare Program. Currently, not all states are required to offer Medicare Supplemental Policies (Medigap) to those who are disabled under 65 years of age. That leaves many disabled individuals with large (20%) co-pays and deductibles to pay from a Social Security Disability check.
