    Research Follow-up
    on Newborn Screening in Sweden

This follow up report on newborn screening offers parents some firm supporting evidence to emphasize the importance of not smoking to their Alpha effected children (or any child). The original screening took place from 1972-1974 and involved 129 Alpha deficient children. This report comes from Thorax.
