FOR Transplant recipients
You may be ELIGIBLE FOR PRESCRIPTION
CO-PAYMENT ASSISTANCE if:
You are taking medications to prevent acute rejection
You have called your drug manufacturer to see if there is an assistance program of theirs that may be better for you
You call PSI to see if you are eligible
PSI (Patient Services Incorporated), a national nonprofit organization, is committed to helping people with expensive chronic illnesses and conditions by locating health insurance solutions and assisting with premiums and prescription co-payments.
Assistance is based on the severity of your medical and financial needs and often saves middle-class families from financial hardship as a result of these conditions. This is a new and developing program resulting in the acceptance of eligible clients. As with all pilot programs, there may be a waiting list for assistance as we operate with limited funding.
Call PSI at (800) 366-7741 to see if we can help you. (Due to HIPAA regulations, PSI can only deal with the patient or a family member of that patient.)
For further info about PSI, please visit http://www.uneedpsi.org
They also offer financial assistance for some augmentation therapy. Contact them for details.
